Dhakai Jamdani

Dhakai Jamadani, as the name suggests, originated in Dhaka pre-partition. This is also one of the popular Bengali sarees worn on festivals and religious rituals.  The jamdani is a special design on the saree for which it is known.

The saree is woven with cotton and resham-threads. The saree emphasizes the curves while falling in the correct places.


The Tussar Silk
